Mission: 28 Days

Bryden stepped back and tucked the scanning probe back into the space for it in the tricorder carrier he had slung across his chest. He glanced at the readout and nodded with a smile.

"Looks like you're all good, everything is within normal parameters. I'll get a full report written up and attached to your personnel file before the end of the shift. You may want to take it easy and stretch that left shoulder a bit before racquetball, I don't see any problems, but the ligaments are showing very early signs of strain. Adding some more Vitamin C to your diet wouldn't be a bad plan either, it helps with ligament recovery."

Crewman Talson shifted off of the biobed and dropped to her feet. She looked up at the doctor and smiled with a nod.

"Thanks doc. I'll stop by the mess and grab an orange. Though I thought it was an apple a day to keep you away." She replied, walking slowly towards the door.

"Apples are good sources of vitamin c as well, but it still won't help you on the court." He chuckled and raised a hand in farewell. She responded in kind with a chuckle and strode out the door.

Bryden stepped up to the console beside the biobed and began combining readouts from the tricorder and the biobed into an official medical report. It was routine work, but still took time. His fingers knew all the places to push, but he paid attention anyhow, just in case he had missed anything on the first run through the results. He hadn't, but by the time he had it attached to Talson's records, another half hour of the day had passed. The Gamma shift nurse had come in and began running his daily reports while Bryden had been busy.

"You know you can use the office to get the paperwork done." Nurse Kaigen said with his customary grin.

"Yeah, but there's no need to sit to do it, and after eleven hours the next time I sit I might start dozing." He slipped off his labcoat and hung it inside the office, then removed the tricorder as well and slotted it next to identical models on the wall. "I'm grabbing some grub and hitting the rack for a bit. My next shift is Tomorrows Gamma shift, so I expect I'll see you then. Hope everythings quiet for you."

"Thanks, maybe I'll get some shut eye as well." Kaigen snarked, not even looking up from the reports.

Bryden grinned and moved through the open sick bay door.
